Pride.  Leave it at the door.  When I have new people come in to do a training session, I like to scale the work load down.  Typically young males want to do the full deal.  Even if I tell them not to, they still do.  Then they are sore for a week and afraid to come back.  So...please scale down if you are new.  We now have an on-ramp program to ease people into the workouts.  It is perfect because in 12 sessions we teach the basic movements and gradually ease you into it.
